IMHO, the rule will be better to be applied to the petshops as well. Because I think the rule is slightly on the bias side. Protect too much on the vet and open the others to be flamed.

Also I think the name of the clinic should be avoided at all if the complains on the clinic are not allowed. Someone might just use this opportunity to promote their own clinic or their friend's clinic. It should be fair, no complain, no promotion. You can argue that good thing should be share, how about bad experience. Good or bad, I think the name should be barred, if the forumer really want to know, can always send a pm.

well... IMHO, a forum is supposely created as a discussion platform. good or bad, this is where we discuss. i dun think it is fair juz to hear all the good things whilst the bad been 'locked' up. furthermore, when we discuss, we r supposely to do it in a professional manner n not accusing each other for this n that.

shud this forum opted not to receive any complaints abt vet clinics, then i guessed it wud b fair as well not to promote any vet clinics in here as well as petshops.

Spot on there. In other more established forums, the name are normally deleted by moderators or at least screening. Any frivilous or slanderous statement against any vet clinic or petshop can result in substancial problem to the poster as well as the site admin. Both can be charged.
