Dear all:
My name is CY Phang and I have a shih tzu called Sunnie. I am posting this job vacancy ad on behalf of LANGKAWI ANIMAL SHELTER & SANCTUARY FOUNDATION (LASSie). They are urgently looking for two vets to be based at the only vet clinic located on the island.
The Veterinarians are responsible for the day-to-day evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts of animals in the shelter and foster care. Continuous monitoring and supervision of shelter animals, including providing training to staff, volunteers and pet owners, with the bigger picture in always in mind to promote to the community at large responsible pet health-care maintenance.
Salary:
For full-time Vet, Senior Vet RM3,500.00 and for a junior Vet RM2,000.00. Accommodation provided - two bedroom house, shared transport, staff meal & a ticket home every second month.
Locum RM160.00 per day with also accommodation, shared transport, staff meal and air ticket provided.

They are also looking for animal helpers (no need to be a vet), details as follows:
Required to help with basic daily care of dogs and cats. Assist with simple house/garden work. Live-in position. Monthly Salary RM1,000 - 1,400 range. Transport, accommodation & lunch provided.

| They're still looking for 1 vet. Or a vet locum for about 1 week end of November or somewhere in December. Volunteers are most welcome too |
