|

Every wonder how to insert a picture into your post? It is actually very easy.
Say for example you want to insert a picture of a dog in your post....
(1) First you need a photo of the dog. So how to get the dog photo? The easiest way is to use Google to search for an image of the dog. Go to Google Image and type in "dog" and press Enter.
You will then see all the dog photos there...
Click on any photo that you think it is cool then choose "See full-size image".
(2) Right click on the image and choose properties. Copy the web address (URL) of the picture.
(3) Paste the url into your post. Highlight the url and click on the above Img tag. You will then notice that your url will be tagged within the Img tags.
Example:
Where the code you type is
Code:
[img]http://pbskids.org/lions/words/images/dog.gif[/img]
(4) Now click preview and see if your photo can show up. That's all! |

| There should be a place where we could upload our photos for our avatar/signature. Currently we can only upload online photos right? |

We will develop the upload image feature very soon. Upload images to the server is easy to setup but there is a danger of unknown users sending us viruses, spyware, trojans, worms, and many others scary things.
Do check back to this forum soon because we will announce the image uploading feature once it is proven to be safe and working. :-)
In the meantime if you want your image upload quickly simply email to me. I will help you to do that. |

We upload this photo using the ImageShack option. It is very easy to use :-)
Caption: Identity Crisis
Here's how to upload your image using ImageShack
1. In the box of "Image Hosting by ImageShack" choose Browse. Then choose an image file that you want to upload. Click the "host it!" button to upload your image.
2. You will be re-directed to ImageShack homepage showing many lines of code. Don't worry, that's normal. Scroll down and find "Direct link to image" and copy the code in the box. Your code should start with "http://...".
3. Now paste the code in your post and place it anyway you like. Highlight the code and press "Img" button (the button is at the top). Your code will then look something like this:
Code: [img]http://....[/img]
For example, the code for the "Identity Crisis" photo (above) is like this:
Code: [img]http://img436.imageshack.us/img436/7250/221616949sc.jpg[/img]
Click preview to see if you have successfully upload your image.
It's that simple :-)
You should also read how to resize your photos to a smaller size to avoid disrupting the forum layout at:

[Note: Please let us know if you have any problem to upload your images] |
