| Hi - I'm wondering if there is a veterinary orthopaedic specialist here in M'sia and second question is: does any animal hospital here offer CT scans? |

| i am afraid that there are no such specialist (board certified and recognized) here in Malaysia to the best of my knowledge, and there is also no veterinary hospitals in Malaysia that has the CT scan. i guess even if they have such a machine, there will be no veterinary specialist to interpret them! |

For orthopaedics I only trust Dr Yeoh in Taman Megah. And for CT Scan someone recommended this but I've never tried this vet. Do check it out.

however freesia, i stand corrected that while there arent any veterinary hospitals that has an in-house ct scan, if the need arises a ct scan can be arranged and the results read by qualified veterinary radiologist.
and in regards of specialist, while there arent any recognized veterinary specialist in Malaysia, but that doesnt mean that there arent any malaysian veterinary specialist! all our malaysian veterinary specialist are currently practising overseas.
there are many experienced veterinarians doing wonderful stuff in our country and with refferals and proper arrangement, their knowledge and experience is accessible to most! |

| Dr Puah In Kuantan offers CT scan for animals, can try to contact him... check if his contact number is in the directory of clinics |
