My Mango of 5 mths plus is experiencing teething process now. I just saw a small pool of stale blood on the floor this morning and her back teeth (presume it's molar) was gone too. It was still fresh and bleeding around the gum. Besides, she has been having really bad breath since bout' 3 weeks ago that I'm desperately to get rid off. I'm not very sure her bad breath is caused by the teething process or food. Any suggestions how to remove the odour? It's impossible to brush her teeth because she's super duper active, I think she has ADD!!!
What are the things I shall take care or look for during this period? I'm not sure whether she's in pain or uncomfortable as she doesn't whine and still very active. Her appetite, she's definitely eating very well! |

| At 5 months, it is common for baby teeth to be replaced by permanent teeth. So, dont be alarmed if you see tooth dropping off. However, for the bad breath, it is unusual for a young pup to be having bad breath. Things like gum infection or tooth infection could lead to bad breath. Also, there are other things that could lead to bad breath, and some of it is dangerous. So, my advice is for you to bring your pup to a vet for a thorough check up. Dont forget to ask the vet to give you advice on how to care for its teeth. |
