| :( kucing saya still cirit birit... dah seminggu... tapi saya pelik walaupun dia cirit birit dia tetap aktif macam biasa.. kenapa dengan dia? sakit apa? |

| maybe makanan dia tak sesuai...i think better you bring your kitten to vet.my cat penah jd cmni jugak.i brought him to clinic, kena inject then dlm 2-3 hari, dia dh sihat.the vet suh i change his food...and it worked :-) |

| i dah bela kucing ni dah 3 bulan dan i bagi dia makn whiskas (wet & dry) dan kadang i bagi ayam rebus dhn ikan rebus tp ok je... cuma seminggu ni dia cirit birit. so i kena tukar makanan apa untuk dia? umur kucing i baru 4 bulan |

hi rina
we are happy for your and your kitten that it seemed to have recovered from its bout of diarhhea. but i do agree with dr. nat that it is highly recommended that you take your kitten to a vet for a check-up, to ensure that your kitten is in good health and that it didn't have any adverse health issues due to the long period of "cirit-birit" it went through.

hi rina,
that's good to hear. all the best. but some vets do open on saturdays and sundays.
i'm not sure where you're located but if you're in kl and near brickfields, i'd recommend that you visit the brickfields vet cos they're open 7/a week and eevn on public holidays. m-s they open until 8pm. sunday, they open until 7pm.

| Ashley is right, there are many vets around the Klang Valley that opens on the weekends. And there are some that remain open after office hours. So, its really not much of an excuse not to bring your cat for a check up. It is after all, just a basic requirement of a responsible pet owner. |

Well... I agreed that no matter how busy you are, you have to take your cat for checkup if kena cirit birit. I had experience that quite often too, even with the same brand of cat food. They tend to get soft wet stools when given fish related cat food.
I'm currently using Purina Friskies here. Somehow every single one would be healthy if I only give them the Kitten food but not the Adult food. Funny right? But that is the only choice I have to ensure that they will not get wet stools. Recently, the large pack was out of stock and I changed to another brand and the wet stool came back. Even if I fed them the canned ones, they will vomit.
So you see, mostly it's the compounds in the food that your cat is not agreeable to. |
