Hi,
Could anyone please advise me on this?My cat is now 1year-old, i changed from kitten to adult food. and his totally allergic to it. he kept scratching his ears until they bleed and infected (luckily vet said no parasites!)so, i changed back to kittens type (hehe...he's so not growing up!)...Does anyone know which food is suitable to sensitive cat?i think i need to change to adult food because they all big boys now :)
Thanks  |

There's many things that can cause allergy. How sure are you it is the food? And there's so many other disease that can look like allergy too. Even fleas can cause allergy.
If it is truly food, then you can find out what type of food is causing it. Just avoid it then. If your cat is allergic to many different types of food, then getting some hypoallergy food would help some. You can get those food from the vet. |

Hi Dr Nat,
The vet said no fleas. I sent him for check up because his ears started to bleed..too much scratching. He recommended me to change his food (Now i feed him RC fussy eaters) and so far he's OK. He was thin before and now, he's gaining weight...i think he likes the food :) |
