My Tiggy is 7-8 years old. two nights ago she's been having breathing difficulties. We admitted her to the vet and since then she's been on iv fluid drip due to dehydration, and also since they found some fluid in her lungs, they are clearing out the fluid to improve her breathing. Still, this brings up the question of the condition of her lungs and her heart. Drs suspect it's the poor heart condition by not pumping enough to circulate blood arnd the body, which they can control by giving medication.
My concern is, is there anything i can do to keep her healthy, besides the medication? she will come home soon from being hospitalized and I will be the one to monitor her...so I want to monitor her as much as the vets do. what are the things I should keep note on? |
