Hi, just wondering if anyone out there is keeping matamata turtle(s)?

Can share info & other useful tips....

First thing I need to know is to learn how to sex a matamata...coz i believe every species of turtles/tortoises have different...

My matamata's cloaca is closer to the tip of the tail and the plastron is forked at the bottom end....so i think it's a male but I have not seen a female so could not be too sure....it's carapace is 10" long and i believe it's 3 years old ( i've had it for 2 yrs now ).

Any matamata owners/breeders out there plse share....thank you....
