Dear Friends,
I wish to take my malaysian cat home with me to australia. There are some vets in malaysia that know the process and can manage it for a fee. Appreciate if you can give me the contact number of such a vet.
I am also looking for accommodation for my cat during the 9 month process as i am no longer living in malaysia. I require more than a penjara like cage for my cat, i hope i could billet her in a nice home with some loving cat owners and pay a boarding fee.
Rgds
Richard.

Greetings Richard,
There is a vet located in KL that I believe handles pet import/export. I've copied their link here: www.animalhospital.com.my/index.html. The actual link for Mobivet who does the actual work is: www.medivet.com.my/mobivet.html.
The Animal Medical Center in KL had a pretty decent set up for boarding cats. I took at look at what they had. The day I was there the animals looked well cared for, and the cages were clean, and it didn't smell super strong of cleaning solutions. ( This is VERY important when it comes to animals in a boarding situation as they have such sensitive sense of smell!)
One other site to check out might be: www.daff.gov.au/aqis/cat-dogs.
If you still have questions you can always contact a vet rep. in Australia that deals with import/export of companion animals as they should be able to tell you what you need to do etc.
Best of Luck! |

hi Richard
if you're still looking to board your cat, you might want to tr Pet Epicure, they are operating a British FAB standard boarding facility.
they're located in Tmn Melawati and they can be contacted at : 012 331 3318.
i've been to Pet Epicure and the place is well-kept, and the animals showered with lots of tender loving care.
good luck |
