Dont feel too down, your fights not over yet, go and giv it your best shot. things have a way of turning out for the better.

Sadly there is no screening for potential vets. and i wish there were. Nothing ticks me off more then a vet student who does not want to be there. N i know so many such as yourself working your butts off to get in. Worst some of these guys who dont give two shi* about animals end up as qualified people who treat animals. But our world is far from perfect, and i dont think you or me could change it. but what you could to is give it your best shot and see what life gives you.

I guess I wasn't keen enough to take STPM...well,we all know how hard it is...I stopped after six months as soon as I got the UiTM offer. But then still, only to regret more...I despise the course! :!:

Dont know who choose the students. but it does not matter since no interviews were done anyway. For all me know they may just write names on paper and toss them in the air and randomly pick....just kidding.

Syed
I think it you really want somthing, dont back down coz its "hard". There is no easy way to get what we want. I think as bumiputras, things are a little (some say alot) easier for us. and if we back down from things that are too hard then we do NOT diserve to get what we want. I have seen how hard my non bumi friends work, i think THAT is the key. Remember, nothing easy is ever worth doing and nothing worth doing is ever easy.

I always hope that no matter what, life will, in the end reward those that work hard, and show no fear when faced with hardship.

Thank you very the inspirational words of wisdom Dr D. It is sort of helping me face Chemistry 1 tmr!

Syed,
I do wish you all the best in UiTM! Hell, STPM is hard i know and if there were an easier way to get into UPM i would do it but then how can we prove ourselves without hard work eh? I'm just hoping that in these few months to come, i can prove that im worthy of getting accepted into a med course!

I think its the faculty that chooses the student, then the university. And UPU just collates all the data. But then again, who knows, it may be an automated system.

I think everyone should have knowed that the UPU result for the STPM 2007 batch is out. The sad news is i get pengajian makanan in UPM and it is not my first choice which is vet.
