Does anyone have any idea what could be causing my dog to expel foamy white stuff. he has hacking and coughing lately.

he had lots of small oranges lately. Eating and drinking are fine. The stool are ok.

Whoaa?! Small oranges? I hope he didnt swallow it whole.

Usually frequent vomiting will produce a lot of white foamy stuff. So, if it still continues, this could be an emergency situation. I suggest you get your dog to a vet asap

Good god! He took it form a tree?!! Maybe the acid in the orange was to high and caused a mild case of gastritis. Anyway rice and chicken is a very good idea. Check for signs of black stool.

Yellow/green discharge from the nose is not good... means there could be pus.. which mean there's an ongoing infection up the nose, or worse - from the lungs.

Chicken + rice is good for a lot of things, e.g. mild diarrhoea, inappetant, etc, but you have to make sure its not too oily - i.e. remove the skin

he sound like the Kernal cough after i check out the youtube sample.

about the nose discharge, i am not sure weather it is related to canine influenza, the yellow discharge sometimes appear only when he is excited or hard bark.

did you bring your dog to a vet?

the doctors here may give you advice. and from the sound of it, you are only taking advice from here and youtube.

please bring your dog to a vet for a thorough check-up before he/she gets worst.
