Doc, At times we find that some calves while grazing they do eat mud or earth.Is this due tue to worm infestation? Are they lacking minerals?At times even adult cows does this.How can we overcome this.Glad if u could clarify this .Thank U.

It is not due to worm infestation. Certainly a mineral deficiency would be a logical explanation. How to overcome this... well, you can do feed analysis to see what is deficient but is this soil/mud eating causing problems like impactions?
