Hey :)
I just realised there are some weird looking poop in my bunny's cage yesterday morning :s

but after that i saw normal looking poop again, black and round ones...izzit bcoz he drank too much water the night before?

And btw, i wonder why my bunny has red eyes sometimes, and it goes on n off... :(

this is my bunny bbo bbo :D very naughty one!

do not worry, yr bunny poo-poo is normal. :D rabbit use to produce two kinds of poo-poo, soft tools (like a bunch of grapes) and hard stools. what we normally see is the hard tools and the soft tools usually will be eaten by the bunny directly from their anus. :wink: which we do not see quite often as this kind of poo poo was normally produce at night or early in the morning...... 8)

yr bunny is so sweet and i have two bunny as well.......... :lol:

can someone help me?my bunny also produce that kind of poop but sometime its not in grapes form, is this poop same with the grapes poops?...and i notice its 'smelly' compare to the normal poop?is it normal?can i also know how much will they produce this soft stools in one time? coz i can see my bunny produce it quite a lot and will eat it from the anus as u mentioned..and how do we know the bunny get 'Diarrhea'?in what form of poop? whats the diff with the normal soft stools?

hi, as far as i know, bunny's soft stool has to be like a bunch of grape, even it is not like a bunch of grape, it should be small and round in shape, (a few soft stools stick together) soft, moisture, it is not smelly at all. if yr bunny having soft stool but the shape is not like what i have mentioned or what was like in the photo we saw plus it is smelly, then yr bunny most probably is having diarrea. u might want to send yr bunny to the vet ASAP. is yr bunny poo poo watery? u can also check yr bunny tail, is it constantly wet and smelly? Diarrea for bunny can not take it lightly, if it is serious, can caused bunny to death. i am not sure how much soft stools will a bunny produce in a day......but normally in small quantity only which we hardly notice it. so not worry how much yr bunny will produce this kind of soft stools, if u saw them eating so thing directly from their anus. they are most probably producing the soft stools. the most important thing is to check their hard stools regularly.........if yr bunny is healty, he or she will be active, eat a lot and should produce a lot of big and round in shape hard stools.......hope this will help, good day........ :D

hi..thanks for the reply..my bunny produce a lot of the soft stools and smelly and also will eat it direct from anus. it happen normally late at night and morning around 9am...i m quite worried and i went to vet to check and they have told me not to worry coz as long as the poo poo come out with shape its considered normal for soft stools. If the bunny get the diarrhea the poo poo will watery and not is shape at all.. my bunny is healthy and very active, eat a lot and also produce a lot of big and round in shape hard stools..
