WWF is looking for candidates who have seniority, technical experience and most importantly with drive and determination to share our passion for people and nature by taking on the following area of work:

Corporate Marketing Manager
Reporting to: Director of Fundraising and Marketing
Based: Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Purpose of Job:
Maximize WWF-Malaysia’s income from the corporate sector and private sector foundation.
Develop corporate marketing strategies to build up new donor funds and maintain existing donor funds.
To enhance and maintain the relationships between the governing bodies and WWF-Malaysia through its’ fundraising.
To conduct and coordinate activities within the organisation that will generate revenue to WWF-Malaysia.
Develop a strong and interactive relationship with companies, organisations, and the public.
To participate in major fundraising event/campaign and at times is required to lead and coordinate those activities.

Key Outputs:
Set financial targets for the unit.
Deliver targeted restricted and unrestricted funds for the corporate marketing unit.
Efficient working relationships between the donors and WWF-Malaysia.
Execute tasks efficiently and on time.

Major Activities:
Maintain corporate supporter database.
Maintain the merchandising/trading business as marketing tools to enhance corporate tie up opportunities.
Implement the successful expansion of corporate sponsorship and Licensing/Promotion business to maximize income for the organisation by:
- Exploring new business opportunities with corporations to increase Corporate Partner Programmes.
- Perform the role of Account Manager. Maintain good working relationship with corporate partners in facilitation, development and management of deals with companies of strategic importance and high profile to WWF.

Prospect corporate and foundation donors thru direct mailer campaign.
Train and supervise junior staff (executive, junior executive, support staff) in the same field of responsibility.
Assist the Director Fundraising & Marketing as require to meet non financial objectives of the Department.
Enlist the assistance of appropriate persons / organisation such as the members of the Board of Trustees, staff within and outside the department, advertising agency etc.
Collaborate with Marketing Communications Manager and Media & Public Affairs Co-ordinator to publicize and promote the mission, work, and accomplishments of WWF-Malaysia through annual review, campaigning activities and corporate tie up.
Assists and advises the Director of Fundraising & Marketing on the problems or possible issues that require to be looked at.
Ensure that the portfolio of projects that require funding updated through close liaison with the Programme Department.
Identify potential (and compatible) corporate and foundation sponsors for cash and in kind support for the organisation as a whole when required.
Keep abreast with progress of projects and to update particular donors on the projects funded by them.

Specifications:

Graduate preferably with a degree in Marketing, Business, Social Science or other related subject.
A comprehensive understanding of commercial practices and multinational business environment.
The capacity to conceptualize and implement business development ideas with a strong sense of project ownership and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills, responsive and an aptitude for precision.
Minimum working experience of five (5) years in a corporate sector.
Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages (especially Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese) an advantage.
Must have people skills and be able to work as a team.
Must be computer literate.
