I have TWO cats up for adoption. I rescued them and have been fostering them for a while now, but as I am going abroad next month (possibly for up to 6 months) i need to find them permanent homes fast.

=============================================

I rescued SUY-ZAEI (Rascal) from Damansara Uptown in Aug-06 and he's about 1+ now. He's been neutered. He was nearly adopted last year but I changed my mind as he is an unusual cat who needs an extraordinary owner.

His coat is mostly white with some orange patches, and his coat 'breaks' easily similar to a Turkish Van's, but even so, he dislikes water though he will tolerate a shower (if handled right). He doesn't make the usual meow meow sounds like normal cats do; not sure what sound it is he makes, maybe his throat is damaged/deformed (just my own theory)

Suy-zaei comes with a list of warnings (to be taken seriously):
1) He's half-wild and will always be.
2) He cannot live in a household with little people or other pets.
3) He will turn agressive (read attack) if you pet him uninvited/excessively or if you make any sudden moves from above him. [I have scars to prove it.]
4) He cannot live indoors as he is clumsy and will overturn and break things at times (unless you don't mind this) i.e. he is not too suited to apartments.

Good points:
1) He's tough
2) He's not a fussy eater.
3) He is probably a good rat catcher...although there are no rats to be caught where I live
4) He hardly needs any attention; he would appreciate it very, very much just to have a place to come home to at the end of the day, one meal a day and water.

Realistically, I don't see much chance of him being adopted, so in case no one takes him before I leave the country does anyone have other suggestions? I thought of leaving him at the Bukit Tunku forest where I think he might live freely and happily, but I'm worried he might try to find his way home and get run over. Also, if allowed on his own, he might run into serious trouble and meet a violent end [I knew a psycho once who fed a tomcat to his 2 rottweilers because the cat scratched him when he pet it!!!].

Anyway, I really hope there's someone out there who's kind and big-hearted enough to take this feisty fellar.

I rescued SAEI-GAE (Little One) along the LDP highway along SS2 in May! She is about 7 months now; has not been spayed but will be soon. She is a little bit naughty and 100% adorable. She LOVES cuddles, pets and massages. She's not a very fussy eater but prefers her water fresh.

She has beautiful coat pattern and her lower eye-lids are black rimmed so sometimes it's hard to tell whether her eyes are open or shut (good disguise!)

Thanks.

P.S. The pictures don't stick. Can someone tell me what I've done wrong? Thanks.

No more cats to be adopted. I've had to release Suy-zaei as I leave for overseas in two days [sob sob - I feel like I've thrown away my own child]; Saei-ge has been adopted.

I've put the pics for you. You should use the "direct link" code instead of the "show image to friends" code. ;)

And the first 2 pics are too large. So I've put the link instead.

Hi, Saei-ge has been adopted by a very nice family, but Suy-zaei still looking for a home...

Anyone knows whether there are shelters in the Klang Valley like Noah’s Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary (NANAS) or The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary i.e. operates on a no-kill policy?
