My now 8 weeks old Silky pup is somehow facing this problem; coprophagia. I've read that sometimes, it's because of the stools' smell that they eat it or it could be indigestion problems. Also, it can be a form of wanting attention from the owners.
I do give her attention and feed her according to time and sometimes, I give her treats if she behaves well and coprophagia happened, once or twice. How do I curb this because I cannot be hawking her 24/7 to stop her from doing that.
Please advice me on this matter. Thanks. |

| my dog had that problem too when he was younger. He even ate some of the other dog's stools when we go on walks. You just got to keep watch and tell your furkid "NO" to eating poo.... they do understand after a few tries..... you would know his poo patern, so just keep close watch during those times.... they will grow out of it when they gets older..... |
