last Saturday(around mid night) suddenly my hamster is spinning round and round with its head tilt to one side until today after yesterday's treatment.

Since i've got class on Sunday morning, i'm only able to send him to Ikano branch because it opens till 8p.m. I'm not satisfied with the Doc there which prescribe my hamster prob due to injury from falling...he's no where in a high place excpt in his cage. The doc give him two shots which suppose to be an antibiotic and a pain killer. and futher more the doc ask to let the hamster stay at the clinic for 5 days which will total up rm250!.. What the heck??? i've check the webite for some info:

Head tilt (wry neck, torticollis). This condition is usually due to internal ear infection, sometimes secondary to a respiratory infection. The hamster often tilts her head to one side and loses her balance, falling or circling when she tries to walk. Bacteria are the usual cause and treatment is with antibiotics.

help me! which is the nearest clinic in puchong is able to cure my hamster! and doesn't cost me a fortune! please! :(

Hamster treatment normally doesn't work as they're normally detected too late. Too strong of a treatment can kill easily as they're not strong compared to larger animals. As such, not many pet shops had the skills to treat hamsters. You had to be prepared and accept to let it go.

You can try this vet clinic called Anicare at 03-41433273. Address is 90, Jln 1/27F, Pusat Bandar Wangsa Maju, Sek 5, Wangsa Maju. It doesn't cost you a bomb. My hamster was treated there for diarrhea but he doesn't make it. At least this clinic does treats hamster. Ask from them for another pet shop telephone located at PJ area. They would know.
