Hi guys, just wanted to share with you our latest family members. Born about 3 weeks ago, these bunch of 3 kittens (2 male and one female - Max, Muffin and Sandora) are a bundle of energy and cant stay still. I had the follow them around the room where they played and tumbled (at 3 weeks?) and climbed on their mummy, Mimi. Mimi the ever so patient mama, looked exausted. She had to chase each one and brought them back to the comfy cushion. They stay in a special room at the back of our house. It has one large 3-tier cage, a nice round table with several chairs, lots of cardboard boxes to play hide and seek (and scratch), well litted and well ventilated. Theres always fresh water and fresh kibbles. A true nursery heaven for kitties.
This is Muffin. The littlest among three. Suspect hes the youngest born.
Max, the fluffiest and the quietest and the biggest among three. Hes so adorable.
This is Sandora, the most energetic among the bunch. I couldnt get her to sit still and each snap shot I took of her mesti blurr...lol..sorry..when I got a better opportunity, Ill repost. Most prob when they are all sleeping!
Mama Mimi....
Cheers!

Not mentioning that the room also comes with a baby sitter.....in a form of a male cat...his name is Alien and this fella just refuse to go out from the room as he takut kena cakar with our very cranky and temperamental Momot, a female cat. So he ends up inside the room, licking and playing with the kittens. Even warming them up when Mama Mimi needs her rest. Imagine that. Ill post when he gets into that Nanny mode.
Fhinz I hope you will find your Adik. Usually they wont go far from the house. But kadang-kadang they just beranak somewhere and will come back when the kittens dah besar. Happened to me few times. |

I think male cats are very unpredictable. Some male attack kittens, some like the kittens' adoptive mom or babysitter. Luckily all male cat in my family cats, so far they love to play with new kittens, not choosy whether the kittens are from the same blood or not own relatives :D You are so lucky to have Alien, a male babysitter, like in the Pacifier movie, :D
Hey, Hanie, one advice for your male cat - sometimes the kittens might suck the male body, as if try to find milk source. My friend got a male cat (neutered by his father) and that male cat usually had kittens try to suck his nipples! Really weird, heheh...
Hopeful my Adik will come back. But now the street in front of my house quite busy with cars as the new secondary school just opened. Might be dangerous if the cat and her kittens want to cross the road without me be the cross-road guard! |
