Too much of a good thing is never good. What you can do is lessen the amount of honey gradually. Some dogs are a bit fussy, i.e. likes only a clean fresh bowl of water daily, only drink from certain bowls, only drink when you hand-feed it, etc. Try paying attention to those also.
There are other methods to get her overall intake of water increased. Such as changing from dry dog food to wet one. Or soaking her dog biscuits in water.
Bladder infection can also occur due to her overall hygiene and other factors. Where does she normally pee? Does she like to sit on her pee? Does the pee/faeces stick to her fur? Does she "tahan" until you bring her out for a walk? |
