| Dr Nat, thanks for the links and I am sure it will be very helpful to all of us. However, I sometimes have problem using the method of "holding the cat's cheek-bones" as some of our cats have big head structure...;-) so what I'd usually do is to scuff the back of the neck, tilt it slighly to the back. Usually they will drop their jaws. Our Momot is not usually cooperative and fierce so we need to bundle her up first before giving any pills. |

| Yes, bundling up the cat with a towel first is a very good idea for very frisky cats. And its best that you get someone to help you for these cats |

i think it's much easier to give liquid medication to cats. coz when i force the liquid (kinda pekat), they had to swallow, lick it, hehe....
anyway, i dunno the vet can give us the syringe. had to use 2 ppl to give one small cat to eat the pill (LOL). my cats are not really cooperative to open their mouths! |

| hehe... my koko br je baik demam.. time nak bagi ubat tugh, sket punyer payah...kite urut2 jer kepala n dagu pelapis dier tu, pelan2 then dier akan bukak mulut sendirik.. (sumtimes, dier tros je tdo bile wat mcm 2!!! :wink: huhuhu...) n sumtimes, mcm budak nak makan ubt la, dier rase x sedap, dier akan tolak ngan lidah dier!! :) :lol: |

| haha, sama la. kucing saya lagi susah, kadang2 ubat tu mmg dah berjaya dimasukkan ke mulut, pastu siap urut2 la dagu kasi pil tu turun. tengok balik mulut dia, pil tu masih ada, hehe.. mmg payah la kasi kucing makan ubat, :D |

My kitty jz had an accident last night..
Thanx God nothing bleeding found...
So sy nk tahu...total harga nk dpt kn rawatan...
My kitty xboleh jln...n i suspect her back leg broke...
i suggest my parent to get medical attention immediately but scared if it too expensive...so where can i get a cheap rawatan n how much??
pls help me doc!!

hi... u can try to take your cat to your nearer 'pejabat haiwan' coz usually there is much more cheaper than the 'private clinic' but one thing u have to ring them first coz the vet in the 'pejabat haiwan' sometimes not availabe :?
hope your cat getting better by now :) |

My kitty is ok now ...i have taken her to vet clinic in upm...
d doctor n consultant said she had a serious damage n need surgery...
one of her bone broke n another one crack....
after i give her vitamin and another pills (antibiotic n painkiller i think) from d clinic, she getting an improvement n she can walk again but disfigurement..so i dont think d surgery necessary right now as she can walk even though a little bit "tempang"..what do u think?? :?: :?
p/s: d surgical treatment cost about rm600-rm900 n above |

glad that shes fine now maybe she'll get better soon because that is alot of money |
