|
|
My kid is in USA, she has been having this neck pain because of disc intrusion problem on C3, C4, C5 and C7. Due to her age (11 yrs old) and overweight, her neurologist is not optimistic about surgically removing the discs. The doc has prescribed her Prednisone 5 mg, and takes when needed.
I am now in Msia for a month's break, I am thinking about getting her Prednisone here because each time we go see the neurologist, it is hundreds of USD.
Can someone advise where can I buy Prednisone without prescription (I have the diagnostic report though) in Msia, either physically visit the store/office, or purchase online is fine.
I am desperately in need of this saving, I have spent ~USD6000 on chemo theraphy on my other dog who unfortunately still left us after much struggle last year, every penny counts. Thank you. |

Hi there.
I had a really quick dig around google and found a couple of sites that might help you out. The first is http://edrugsearch.com/web.php?q=Prednisone which seems to sell what you are looking for for less than you were saying you got it. Secondly there is http://www.afm.org.my/info/medications_for_ra.php which is the Arthritis Foundation of Malaysia so not quite catering to your needs but they did mention Prednisone so maybe they could help you locate it if you contacted them (they have phone number, adress, fax etc on the contact us part of the web page).
Good luck finding it and i hope everything works out ok. |

| with a prescription, you can easily get the medication from the drug store/ pharmacy or you can also get it from a vets' office. I reckon a vets' office will be better as you can show your records and perhaps the vet can offer more advice and answer any lingering doubts you may have while you are here in Malaysia! |

| thank you all, already contacted a local vet and made appointment to show him the diagnostic reports. I have got eDrug from google search too, seems reasonable, better than 20 pc for USD12 my vet charged me. |

| I wonder if it is alright to take those drugs in to the US. I think they are very strict in terms of movement of drugs across their borders. Better get clearance from the guys in the US and have your vet write a letter or report. |
