Hi
i'm 18 this year and i'm currently doing A level (just started 6 months ago)
sorry it may sound a bit out..
but i've always wanted to further my studies in UK.. studies as in.. i wan to go to a vet school in UK.. which i think it is quite hard.. furthermore, all my results.. (for my exams in a level) are just around 60++% only..
i'm not really sure if i can go to a vet school in UK..
furthermore.. everyone's been telling me it's really hard to get into University in UK.. but i really hope that i can get into one!
however, if i plan on stayin in Malaysia, from A level, can i get into UPM if i have a good results in A level? (or mayb bad results?)
it seems that i'm only one taking A level here..
i'm taking it cause i'm not sure if Malaysia has any other specialised veterinary school.. so i planned on going overseas...! |

If I'm not mistaken, you need at least 3As to get to apply to a vet school. Or was it 2As 1B? And A in chemistry and maths or physics. I cant really remember, its been so long time since I last checked. And these are just the lower limit to APPLY... vet school is really competitive in the UK.
In UPM its another matter. The requirements changes from year to year. I guess it depends on who's applying. If more people apply, then only the top students get selected. So, getting certain results is no guarantee of getting into vet school. UPM is only open to about 60-70 vet students each year.
This has already been discussed to death in the other topics. Go search it. |

well.. i only started my alevel..
but i plannin to do veterinary..
i never know there's foundation for vet since i thought veterinary isn't quite popular among the students in malaysia~
and i alaways thought that a vet need to do biology..
i jusgt made my decision last month and from the subjects i took...
at the beginnnin of the year, i took physic, chem and math
but since i thought of doing veterinary just last month, i dropped physic and take up bio instead..
so... actually is bio needed? since i'm plannin to do veterinary science and veterinary medicine~
how long will it take me to finish the course? |

There is no foundation specially for the vet course.

It depends which university you want to go to. Just search for vet schools, and see their admission requirements. Do some research, now with the internet its so easy.

Again, depending on which university you want to go to. Normally it is 5 years. |

yeah, we have a few japanese clients and we do discuss anime with them. they were into inspector conan or something. during that time, we were into gundam seed (they say seed-o) and destiny.
astro boy was a classic. in fact they named their schnauzer astro. |

i wanted to take the combination of both Vet Med and also Vet Science, i heard it's a 6 year course, but i think it'll be tough to study in UK...
so so it is possible to take this combination together oneshot? |
