For over 20 years, PAWS Animal Welfare Society has opened its door supporting the unwanted, the strays and the abandoned amongst us. Our shelter has the capacity to care for 400 animals, and we are fortunate to have a team of dedicated staff supporting our mission on a daily basis.
We are seeking individuals to join this team, individuals who are truly passionate about animal welfare and are willing to help PAWS provide for the animals.
Veterinarians (2 contract position)
Qualification:
- Must be registered with the Malaysian Veterinary Council and have a current practice license.
- Minimum 3 years working experience.
- Valid drivers license.
Responsibilities include:
- Spay/neuter surgery, vaccination, the care and treatment of shelter animals, and humane euthanasia.
- Veterinary support for members and registered animal rescuers.
- Surrenders, adoptions, fostering, record management and ad-hoc shelter administrative duties.
Shelter Assistant (1 contract position)
Qualification:
- Minimum SPM, computer literate and basic book keeping.
- Good telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities include
- Facilitate surrenders, adoptions, fostering.
- Manage public enquiries.
- Daily administrative work including record keeping and office duties.
