For Vets,
LASSie, Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation is looking for full-time vet, meals and accommodation provided with salary. We invites all the qualified-vets to be part of our foundation.
The Veterinarians are responsible for the day-to-day evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts of animals in the shelter and foster care. Continuous monitoring and supervision of shelter animals, including providing training to staff, volunteers and pet owners, with the bigger picture in always in mind to promote to the community at large responsible pet health-care maintenance.
For Pre-Vet,
Want to have a short practical training during your study period or right after graduate? Our foundation is seeking volunteers participate our volunteer program in taking care the dog shelter and Island Animal Klinick(IAK). You require to work 8 days a day, 6 days a week in return of food and accommodation. It's a 2-weeks program and open all year round. Confirmation will depends on arrival date and volunteers' accommodation availability (twin-sharing basis) as we have very limited accommodation.

| Anybody interested? Full-time vet or volunteer (min 2 weeks)? Temp position (included accommodaton with daily paid) is considered (few mths) but it's subject to the management decision. |

| hi, currently i am a vet student, can i know if i want to be volunteer for this progrmme, how to apply and need any requirements? non vet students can apply to this programme? |

Full-time position filled.
Volunteers are most welcome! Kindly note that all volunteers are no longer place at the dog shelter but will place and help out at our animal clinic!
Good opportunity for pre-vet or even current vet! |
