If i were to obtain my degree from a university not recognised in Malaysia, is there any way i could come back to work here? Is there a certain examination i could take to validate myself as a qualified vet to practise here?

You could become a member of the RCVS. That is recognised here. To become a member, you might have to sit for an exam or you could just register with the RCVS, depending where you graduated from.

I am actually considering studying in a university in Budapest, Hungary. The university has accreditation from a board in the EU, though i dont recall the name exactly. I was actually considering doing a postgraduate course in the UK for i feel with that i would be able to return to msia, but am worried about how i will fund myself. I thought of working there after obtaining my degree but am also worried that i would not be employed for i am an international student with no EU citizenship. Whatever it is i do wish to eventually return here to msia. Hence i have doubts as to whether to proceed with my plans. What do u think?

About the employment perhaps you should ask the embassy about their working policy. Like Dr Nat said you can sit for RCVS and once you pass the exam you are free to work in many countries.

There are many EU countries that is able to register with the RCVS without sitting for the exams. If you know the name of the university, do check with the website (link given above). With the MRCVS, it is like a passport to practice in many different country. It does help to know WHERE you want to practice after you graduate.

At the end of the day, I still intend to come back to Malaysia. Before that however i do hope to seek employment abroad for a while. Either UK or if i could get a job in Hungary after graduating, that will be good as well. My main concern was just whether i could come back home after graduating with a degree from hungary. Getting registered with rcvs sounds like a good plan though. Thanks for the advise! Helped more than you know.
