I am not very sure about MAS Kargo animal service. I hope that those who have been thru the services can guide and give me some advice.

I am currently living in KL. I have a cat. I am planning to move to Sabah. And of coz I want my cat to move to Sabah with me.What are the procedures? Can my cat follow me on the same flight as i am departing? Or he has to go with MAS kargo ? How long does it take for him to reach Sabah if he has to go by MAS Kargo ? What about the price?

go n consalt ur vet...they will tell u how...as for me...i bring my cats frm miri to k.l...i just need my vet's letter to prove tat it is healty,must microchip n take rabis vaccination injection...after tat i get permit frm Department of Veterinary Services,Hospital Veterinar at cheras. After tat i talk 2 mas..i take my pets as my laugage so they go at the same flight as me n didnt charge extra...if u use mas cargo...meaning to say u have to pay another minimum 500++...tat is for the mas animal hotel...kinda expensive...

i also ask 4 information tat if i want to bring my cats back frm k.l to miri...it is expensive...need 2 do all blood test n so on...need 2 quarrentine somemore when u reach miri or sabah...it need 1500 minimum for a cat if i wanna bring them back home again...

all the above is wat i knw..if u want further information better go n consalt ur vet..they will teach u how...just note tat while u check in tell them tat u want to bring ur pets as ur laugage...save money n will be the same flight as u...if not it might be possible tat u already arrive sabah but ur pet havent...tat happened 2 my frens...she reach k.l at the morning but the pets not yet...search 4 high n low cant find it...ask everyone n cry in the end...check probably rupa rupanya her cats come on the second flight...if u have alot of laugage with u u send it by mas cargo. coz if u hav mas ticket it will be half price.1kg 20 cent if normal price 1 kg 40 cent. Recomand 2 do it tis way bcoz ur stuff is not important doesnt matter when it arrival n it is cheap compare 2 mas animal hotel. If u take ur pets as laugage n no over weight they wont charge u. Hope u get wat i mean n does help u...sorry ya...broken english
