The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Final Year Students of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine 2006/07 is organizing a seminar for the PUBLIC on "A Better Understanding of Pet Care & Management of Common Pet Diseases".
Date: 14 October 2006
Time: 8 am - 3.30 pm
Venue: DSV Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM, Serdang
The admission is free and all are welcome to the seminar. Issues that will be discussed during the seminar are such as ;Why should we vaccinate and deworm our pets, Birth control for pets, Management of Pet Diseases such as skin diseases, FLUTD, heartworm, cancer and many more.
I hope all the vets and people reading this post, can help us in promoting this event. Please encourage your clients to attend this seminar as it will be very beneficial to pet owners. Feel free to contact us if you need any additional information or the itinerary of the event. Thank you and hope to see you all in the seminar. |

Dear Dr. Nat
Well, believe it or not, the speakers for this seminar are actually ALL the final year students. This seminar is actually part of a mini project for the Cat and Dog Diseases (VPK 3111). Everyone of us are given a small topic to work on and most of the topics are very practical and very simplified to suit the layman. I will post the itinarary later.....so look out for it.
P.S: The seminar will be fully in English |
