May i share a story of my mine? I have taken a stray cat once, and she is shivering, her temperature was high, and she wont eat anything. I thought she has a desease like parkinson or had only a fever. I assume she wont make it another day due to her physical movement.

My brother is a dealer on health product. So he suggested me to give her iGg Plus Milk to try. I agreed to use it due to her critical condition. I suppose that was my last choice. To my surprise, she have stop shivering and acted normally i saw her the next morning. But its best if you could bring your pets to vets la..

A cat that is not eating and lethargic for 3 days is pretty serious. Please bring her to a vet before you try out anything else. Waiting any longer is not advisable, they go downhill very fast.

Brought him to vet yesterday Evening. He had ulcer tongue and eyes infection, no fever. So treat him with "Doxy" and eyes liquid "Nikol" (not really sure the spelling and vitamin "Flex.. (can't remember) plus B-complexe for appetite. I bought A/D food too for increase his appetite. Around 5am i woke up for sahur i saw him walk and sound normally..think he get well a bit...give him "eagle pack" normal food that he always take but he dont want to eat. When i show him the A/D food, he sound more loud. So i give him with small quantity and he want somemore...hmm...im thinking whether he still cant eat that eagle pack or he want to eat the A/D because that A/D food more delicious. Can i just dont bother?

If he likes the A/D, give it to him whilst he recover. Its better to have him eating something at this stage, rather than nothing at all. When he's recovered, you can slowly go back to his usual food.

I put last night to another cat coz look like he have that same desease but become more worse..eyes watering a lots i felt regret to put that medicine. What is that actualy? Now i thinking to bring that cat to vet. Is that serious?

A lot of symptoms may look the same, but is actually a different condition altogether. That is why, we cannot recommend the same type of medication for a cat that we have not examined. Its better to bring your cat to a vet, before its eyes gets worse - or worse still, become blind.

Doxycycline is an antibiotic. Depending on the nature of the disease, it may require more than just 7 days dosage. You have to follow the vet's prescription and finish the entire course of antibiotics given. And that is very important, or else the disease will not be fully cured and could come back worse than before. The antibiotic may work for both the flu and ulcer, again, depending on what the causative agent is.

I know a few people who saves up the antibiotics once the cats seem cured. And then, when the next cat have the same symptoms, they will give it to that cat instead. Please don't do that! Antibiotics are given according to the symptoms, and as you can see, not all with similar symptoms have the same disease. Furthermore, antibiotics are meant to be finished (for the same cat!).

they ulcer still there. But active and playful. Already start eating that Eagle pack. I put him outside ready before this inside the cage. Pity him..lonely. Quite worry coz the antibiotic just left one tablet. Should i bring him to vet again or just contnue wih the same medicine. Pet shop owner advise me to give honey can help the ulcer. But he dont like it.

You can bring your cat for a follow-up from your vet. It will be worth it, even if it is to confirm that your pet is on its way to recovery. :)
