hi

i now have 2 dogs at home our new one is 5 months old and quite a hand full, both dogs have hard body ticks and soft body tick... my mom and i spend the entire day going thru their fur to take them out... its become so bad that i wake up in the morning and the ticks are crawling in my bed because my dogs sleep with me and they are even climbing the walls... what do we do...

1. Get a GOOD tick wash

2. Bathe your dog with it, REGULARLY - of course, following the vet's advice or manufacturer's recommendation

3. Spray the tick wash around the house, especially in areas where the dog likes to go and wherever you see the ticks (they like to live in cracks too)

4. Wash all your bedding regularly, and vacuum house - generally, keeping clean

5. If you do bring your dogs out for walks, or they meet up with other dogs regularly, think about putting them on some kind of tick prevention

p.s. if you don't have any idea which is a good tick wash or tick prevention meds, you might want to pay a visit to your vet. Don't be afraid to ask for advice.
