bb baru je rescued a little kitten in some bushes in front of my house. not sure kene buang or sesat. he (or she) was all wet n cold from d rain. so i took him in, keringkan n bagi some food.

m hoping to find a home for him. myself da full house, n my parents arent too happy with d growing number already. me dok menumpang, silap haribulan bb plak yg kene join d strays on d streets..hehehehe

d kitty, short tail, kaler white n cream (mostly white with spots of cream on head n body) kecik lagi..hmmm..not sure how to tell d age though..but if ade mummy sure dok nenen lagi la. lbh krg age tgh galak nak melenting2 memain gitu (will try n paste pic, if i can, senang)

really need to move this kitty fast b4 my parents bising. if anyone can take care of him until i find him a home pun ok jugak, will pay for d food n meds la. if not i will have no choice but anto spca, which is the last thing i would want to do.

so tolong, if anyone can help ya...would really appreciate it.

btw, i am in ampang selangor.

Hello nyeamuk,
Its so kind of you willing to adopt the cat. Compliments goes to bbpie too for having such a good heart to temporary provide shelter for the poor kitty.

So...have you brought him home? How is he coping with his new home? Is he litter trained yet? Would love to see some pictures of him. I can't resist pictures of baby kitty. They are just too cute.

Hi bbpie,
Poor.... bbpie don't cry. Kuci kuci kuci (tickling you to make you laugh) I know how it feels especially you have taken good care of him for several days treating him like your baby, suddenly have to give away. What more, kittens are supper cute and adorable they will melt our heart instantly.

I hope the new owner really takes good care of him. By the way it would be nice to show me your big happy furry family.

I have inserted pictures of my one and only baby, Hugo at the introduction topic. If you haven’t seen, here is the link http://vet.com.my/viewtopic.php?t=1049

Nice to meet you bbpie, have a nice day.

I usually advice people who are helping rescue pets and finding new homes for them, to spay/neuter them first before giving them away. Or at least to follow up on them to make sure they do it! Otherwise, all your hard work will go down the drain, as the females give birth to more homeless kittens or the male fathers more stray cats.

Talking about spay/neuter I know of a Taiwanese lady resides in KL, I have to give respect and salute her. That’s what she did. She would neutered all dogs and cats that she found before giving away. (Suggesting to the new owner to pay for the fee, explaining the importance of spaying/neuter. Usually the new owner would understand and doesn’t mind paying) She makes sure the new owner really loves pets before she gives away.

THATS NOT IT , from time to time, she would drop by just to take a peek making sure all the pets that she gave away are all well taken off. She even offered the new owner at any time, if their pets are sick she doesn’t mind bringing the pet to vet on behalf of them if they have financial restrain or simply busy. Gotta give her thumbs up.

Ops... time up for my chinese drama series on Astro. Tata......catch up with you guys again.

Yes its true some new owner would get annoyed if one persistantly call to check. They would feel its their baby now, I know what to do, let it go and if you think I can't handle take it back

A friend of mine adopted a cat from a lady. She would drop by her house to check on the cat very frequently. Till now, even after a year, she is still checking on the cat. My friend understand her concern and doesn't mind her visiting. But what annoyed my friend was, each visit, she definitely has something to say. “Oh…you can’t do this, you have to do that, why didn’t u do this, blah....blah...” Once she even scolded her daughter for what ever reason, I can't remember. My friend try to avoid her .

My opinion, at the initial stage, being concern, calling to check and offering help is proper. But latter one must learn to let go.

Now that you've learnt how to paste pictures, don't forget to show off your family ya.
