Both Albendazole and Fenbendazole is from the benzimedazole group of anthelmintics. Although they are from the same class, parasites may show different degrees of resistance to either drug.
The difference? it is 2 different compounds and of course there are a bunch of differences. Fenbendazole is safer for use in pregnant animals and is not absorbed orally nearly as well as albendazole. fenbendazole is also not labeled to treat taoeworms although it is likely that it will work. I'm not sure what type of difference did you want to know? Did you want to know the pharmacology? Uses? Prices?
I think you are going about asking the questions in a round about way and risk not getting the answer you want. Please first give the reason why you want to know and more specific details of what you want to know in order for us to give you a better answer.
Before I forget, both drugs are not labeled for use in lactating dairy cows. Your id is dairyman and that is the only reason why I brough that up. |
