I have been keep hamster about 3 month...
before this they just fine...
but when i had buy a new house for them, they keep fighting..
now one of my hamster have been bite by other one and its furr keep falling... and i can see its skin..
what happen to my hamster?
and can anybody give suggestion which veterinary clinic should i go
because i don't know where and i'm living in kota damansara. |

Sometimes this really happen that when the environment change (a new cage), some "relationship" and the previously achieved "balance" in the "society" need to be re-established to suit with the changes in environmental factors. The previously defined "territory" is disrupted and needs to be re-established again, and the dominance-submissive relationship, or even the hierarchical relationship needs to regained its stability. This abrupt environmental change leads to fights or war among the hamsters.
Your hamster may have injured through bite wounds that exposed the skin (even the underlying subcutaneous and muscles sometimes), it's kind a traumatic injury. I'm sure you will find there are many vet clinics around your area, check the list of veterinary clinics in the forum in another section. |
